When we look at the world map and imagine a true adventure, one place stands out instantly: Antarctica, the only continent entirely covered in ice. On our group journey in January 2027, we will sail through deep blue waters surrounded by dramatic fjords carved by nature and towering glaciers. As we travel farther south, the scenery becomes wilder and more pristine, and we may encounter penguins, seals, and even whales in their natural habitat.
Although the Antarctic region is undoubtedly the highlight of the voyage, the South American cities along our route will be just as captivating. Buenos Aires will welcome us with the rhythm of tango, historic cafés, and lively squares. Punta Arenas reflects the adventurous spirit of the far south, while Montevideo greets visitors with its seaside promenade, sandy beaches, and relaxed atmosphere.
And of course, life on board will be just as memorable as the destinations themselves. From the comfort of a modern cruise ship, we will admire breathtaking polar landscapes from the decks and enjoy moments of complete relaxation between explorations. In short, this is more than a trip—it’s an invitation to collect rare, unforgettable moments that truly feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Meet the tour leader at the hotel, in the evening. You are free to explore the surroundings a bit on your own or to relax before the big adventure.
Day 2 – Buenos Aires City Tour & Embarkation
The day is dedicated to exploring the vibrant city of Buenos Aires, discovering its historic center and iconic neighborhoods such as La Boca and San Telmo, known for their colorful streets and lively artistic atmosphere. Cobbled alleys, local markets, and traditional cafés offer our first authentic taste of Argentine culture. In the evening, we board our cruise ship and prepare for the adventure that begins at sea.
Day 3 – Departure from Buenos Aires | First Day at Sea
Our ship departs from the port of Buenos Aires as we begin to settle into the rhythm of cruise life. A walk along the decks brings the fresh sea breeze and the sound of the waves. The pool area is perfect for relaxation, with sun loungers and sheltered spaces, while those who prefer to stay active can visit the fitness center or the jogging track that runs along the decks. In the evening, the lively central atrium comes to life with music, bars, and entertainment, or you may choose to enjoy a theatrical performance on board.
Day 4 – Day at Sea
Another day at sea gives us the opportunity to enjoy the ship’s many facilities. We can alternate between the pools and jacuzzis, relax in the spa, or explore the library and art spaces on board. There are many spots to admire the ocean horizon, including the SeaWalk – a glass-floored walkway suspended above the water – as well as terrace bars where we can watch the sun slowly set over the waves.
Day 5 – Day at Sea
The day offers the opportunity to join a variety of activities and presentations organized on board, from informative sessions to art exhibitions in the atrium. The afternoon may be perfect for wine tastings at the ship’s bars or for enjoying a dessert with panoramic ocean views. In the evening, dynamic entertainment awaits, including live theatre shows, themed productions, or open-air movies.
Day 6 – Punta Arenas, Chile
Our first port of call is Punta Arenas, a city that blends maritime history with impressive natural surroundings. An optional excursion to Magdalena Island offers the chance to observe Magellanic penguins and seabirds in their natural habitat. For those who prefer to stay in town, the streets with European-style architecture and the local atmosphere provide a charming cultural experience.
Day 7 – Ushuaia, Argentina | Tierra del Fuego
We arrive in Ushuaia, often called the “End of the World,” a city nestled between mountains and sea. An optional excursion to Tierra del Fuego National Park reveals the spectacular landscapes of Ensenada Bay, the Beagle Channel, and Lake Roca, with their wild scenery and deep blue waters. Exploring this region offers a close encounter with Patagonia’s natural beauty and plenty of remarkable photo opportunities.
Day 8 – Day at Sea
After visiting Ushuaia, we return to the open sea as we gradually approach the polar region. The ship’s restaurants, cafés, and relaxation areas become welcoming places to unwind, whether enjoying a quiet walk along the decks or participating in social activities organized on board.
Day 9 – Antarctic Peninsula
We begin our scenic journey along the Antarctic Peninsula, where glaciers, icebergs, and polar wildlife create a striking and unforgettable landscape. Penguins move freely across the ice, seals rest along the shores, and seabirds glide above the waves as the ship sails through dramatic fjords and past towering glaciers. Time spent on the observation decks brings us closer to this remote world, while onboard lectures provide fascinating insights into Antarctica’s geography and ecosystem.
Day 10 – Antarctic Peninsula
We continue exploring the Antarctic Peninsula, admiring its spectacular glacial formations and majestic fjords, with many opportunities for wildlife observation and photography.
Day 11 – Antarctic Peninsula
We sail through some of the most breathtaking areas of the region, where panoramic views combine ice, water, and wildlife in a truly unique natural setting. Each moment spent on the observation decks reveals new perspectives of the polar landscapes, while the constantly changing scenery offers excellent opportunities for photography and wildlife observation.
Day 12 – Antarctic Peninsula
Our final day along the Antarctic Peninsula offers one more chance to admire massive icebergs, imposing glaciers, and penguin colonies before we begin sailing back toward the open ocean.
Day 13 – Day at Sea
After several days surrounded by glaciers and ice, this day at sea invites relaxation and reflection. An evening stroll through the ship’s central atrium, a conversation over a drink at the bar, or simply watching the endless horizon can be the perfect way to enjoy the moment. Sports facilities remain available, and the spa area invites us to unwind completely.
Day 14 – Falkland Islands (Stanley)
We arrive in Stanley, a charming town with colorful houses and carefully maintained gardens that contrast with the wild landscapes of the islands. Exploring on foot, we can discover historical landmarks such as Christ Church Cathedral—the southernmost Anglican cathedral in the world—and the famous Whalebone Arch, built from the jawbones of two blue whales. Local museums reveal the history of the Falklands War and traditional island life, while coastal walks offer views of rugged shores and abundant seabirds.
Day 15 – Day at Sea
After our stop in Stanley, we enjoy another relaxing day at sea. The pools and jacuzzis provide perfect places to unwind, while sports enthusiasts can take advantage of basketball courts, tennis courts, or mini-golf. Guests interested in cultural experiences can attend onboard lectures and art exhibitions or enjoy a wine tasting in one of the ship’s elegant bars.
Day 16 – Day at Sea
Another peaceful day at sea allows us to reflect on the journey before the final ports of call. Panoramic terraces and lounges provide beautiful views of the sunset over the ocean, while those interested can explore the ship’s boutiques or indulge in a spa session before arriving in Uruguay.
Day 17 – Montevideo, Uruguay
Montevideo is a capital city that blends colonial architecture with modern urban life. Walking through the historic Ciudad Vieja reveals traditional squares, cobbled streets, and historic buildings, while the seaside boulevards invite leisurely strolls along the coast. Wide parks and urban beaches offer relaxing moments, and local cafés and restaurants give us the opportunity to taste traditional Uruguayan cuisine.
Day 18 – Buenos Aires, Argentina
We say farewell to the beautiful cruise ship that carried us to Antarctica. Back in Buenos Aires, there is time for further exploration: the elegant boulevards and historic cemetery of Recoleta, the colorful facades of La Boca, or the bohemian cafés of San Telmo. Those interested may attend a traditional tango show or take a walk along the Río de la Plata waterfront while admiring the city illuminated by the evening sunset.
Day 19 – Departure

- Payments: In Argentina and Uruguay, we will be able to pay both in cash – local pesos – and with our usual bank cards. Digital platforms such as Revolut generally work without issues in most locations. During the cruise, all excursions and services will be paid directly on board, so it is important to have a working card with us.
- Internet access: Internet connection can be limited in Antarctica, so we will mostly enjoy the peace and spectacular scenery. Wi-Fi is available on board for an additional fee, and in cities such as Buenos Aires and Montevideo we will find free networks in cafés or restaurants. For those who wish to stay connected, an eSIM or a local SIM card will be very useful.
- Electricity: The electrical system used in Argentina, Uruguay and on the ship is 220 V / 50 Hz, with type A, C and I outlets, so a universal adapter is recommended for any charger or gadget.
- Cruise equipment: During the cruise we will encounter low temperatures and strong winds, especially at sea or near Antarctica. It is highly recommended to wear warm layered clothing that allows us to adjust our comfort throughout the day. A windproof and water-resistant jacket, thick enough for polar cold, will be essential, along with comfortable waterproof footwear. For special evenings on board or formal dinners, we recommend elegant or cocktail dresses for ladies and a suit or blazer with trousers for gentlemen.
- Communication: English is widely used on board and in tourist areas, and knowledge of Spanish will be a pleasant advantage for local interactions (but it is not essential).
