This is the second time I’ve traveled with Terra Incognita.
This time, in addition to the well-known flawless organization, I had the opportunity to meet (and for this, I am very grateful to Terra) remarkable Romanians who have been making constant and sustained efforts for years to promote the values of our country.
Because of them, I feel encouraged and reinvigorated in my hope for a better future back home!

Serious people—at least in the sense that they deliver what they promise, and you’re guaranteed a surprise as well. There are jokes included in the program, but that’s under the fun category, not the unprofessional one. I’ve been on a one-day trip (leaving in the morning, returning in the evening) and a two-day trip with an overnight stay, and in the future, I’ll try the longer trips.
I also like that there are many different destinations to choose from, varied ones—not just the same themes and the same trips that might end up boring people.

I’ve been on more than 10 trips with Terra, some lasting one day, others up to five days. Răzvan & company are always professional, well-prepared, and they always have a surprise up their sleeve. I’ve often gone without knowing anyone, and everything turned out great. I recommend them from the heart.

A rainy start to the day. But with Terra Incognita, I had a dream day, full of beautiful locations and lots of joy. The sun was hiding behind the clouds, but it finally came out to see us—after all, it was curious to know who was feeling so good!

I joined the Terra group later on, and I’ve been on two trips with them so far. I went on my first trip with Terra to Gura Portiței and the Danube Delta. It was a much-needed three-day getaway. The holiday village at Gura Portiței was an excellent choice—with the sea and beach right at our fingertips, paddle boat rides, and plenty of fresh fish to enjoy.
And the Delta? What more can I say—it was amazing. Everything went perfectly: transportation, activities, even the weather was on our side. While others were caught in endless rain, we had mostly sunny skies and stayed completely dry—unless you count the splashes from the speedboat in the Delta!
By the way, the garlic sauce was incredible—good enough to eat on its own—and everything else was just as tasty.
The group was great, though I didn’t get the chance to meet everyone, and the guide did a truly excellent job—by the book. Well done! I really hope to travel with you again. I can’t wait to see the photos!
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I believe an experience is worth a thousand pictures and a thousand words combined. When I travel, I try to absorb everything a place has to offer—the atmosphere, the people, the stories. I observe those around me, notice gestures, overhear conversations, witness moments, admire the buildings and the landscapes, make new friends, and respect local traditions.
Even though I didn’t know anyone, since it was my first time traveling with you, I felt like part of a family—as if I had known you all forever. And I can honestly say I’m looking forward to joining you again, exploring places I haven’t yet seen, whether in our own country or abroad.

It's been 10 years since I first went on a trip with Terra, and I'm glad I did. They have selected routes and collaborators so that tourists can have the best experience. Just look at the titles of most excursions to realize that Terra has set the tone for organizing such events on Facebook.
I recommend any hiking trip, vacation, or event organized by the Terra team! They demonstrate professionalism and preparedness. In this team, you'll find only beautiful people with smiles on their faces... I love them!

With Terra, I've had the most beautiful trips and vacations, and since I met them in 2019, I only travel with them. Why? Because you feel good, comfortable, and safe with them. Because they always strive to offer you everything possible, including surprises. Because they always find solutions even in the most difficult situations, and they have backup options if some attractions are no longer available. Because they know how to provide attention, friendship, and support. Because when you travel with them, your only concern is to get your luggage to the meeting point. Because they work magic. For those who don't know them, it's worth mentioning that their "secret trips" are unique. You sign up for a trip without knowing where you'll go, only finding out on the day of the meeting. And that's wonderful because you know they take care of everything, and you're left to be surprised. It's fabulous to discover what wonderful people they gather around as tourists, handpicked people, I would say! Here's to many more wonderful vacations and events together!

Besides the impeccable organization, which makes you feel great (patience, attention, care for nature, adaptation to the pace of the less sporty), we received beautiful stories about well-chosen places, jokes, and surprises. Răzvan is a true guide, in many ways... With him, we learn a lot, about ourselves, about humanity, about how to put your heart into what you do.
We appreciated the search for trails that lead to beautiful places from here and elsewhere - we saw Cetățuia-Nămăiești-Corbii de Piatră for the first time, and the magnificent Krushuna waterfall in Bulgaria. And what pleasant surprises we had along the way!

When it comes to vacations and trips, I know that preferences vary greatly from one person to another (some want to visit as many places as possible, others prefer a relaxed schedule, some don't like to wake up too early, etc. ), which is why I generally avoid making recommendations in this regard. However, after 12 very beautiful trips I've taken with Terra, I feel I owe at least a review.
Why I like Terra Incognita trips (my subjective opinion based on personal experiences):
- Very good organization, especially in trips far from home, where we encounter a new culture.
- Andreea, Razvan, and Stefan: professionals and entertaining, always there when you have problems/need help (a plus for the patience they always show; I imagine it's not easy to take care of a group of 30-40 people with often very different personalities and expectations).
- It wouldn't be fair not to mention the other people from Terra with whom I interacted less but who left me with a pleasant impression (Mr. Iuhasz, Irina, etc. ).
- The structure of the trips: I always had an interesting program but also enough free time to explore on my own.
- Numerous spectacular destinations and surprises.
- They know how to choose their local collaborators.
- They find suitable solutions when what was promised locally is not available, minimizing the impact on travelers.
- They always demonstrate good communication.
So far, I've been to 8 countries on 3 continents, and all I have left to add is that I am eagerly awaiting the next trip with you! I'll stop here because I still have a reputation to maintain as the quiet guy.
