ITINERARY
Here is a day-by-day description of the tour:
Day 1: Arrival in Los Angeles
Upon arrival at the destination, meet the tour leader at the hotel. The first day is dedicated to Hollywood: the Walk of Fame, Beverly Hills, and Universal Studios.
Day 2: Los Angeles – California dreaming
We discover the unconventional charm of Venice Beach, the relaxed atmosphere of Santa Monica, and the refined art at the Getty Center. The day ends with a sunset over the Pacific, in true West Coast style.
Day 3: San Diego – fiery sunsets and authentic flavors
We explore the charm of the historic Gaslamp Quarter, let ourselves be carried by the ocean breeze on the beaches of La Jolla, and cross the border into Tijuana, Mexico, where we taste local drinks. In the evening, we enjoy authentic Mexican tacos and admire the sunset at Sunset Cliffs, as the sky melts into shades of orange and violet.
Day 4: On Route 66, the road to Needles
We travel along historic Route 66, stopping at ghost towns and vintage gas stations. Needles offers us an authentic glimpse into the Old American West.
Day 5: Grand Canyon – Endless vastness
A full day dedicated to one of the most impressive natural wonders of the world. We admire the sunrise at Mather Point, hike along the Bright Angel Trail, and end the day with a memorable sunset at Hopi Point.
Day 6: Las Vegas – the city that never sleeps
The day comes alive to the rhythm of the Strip, where the dancing fountains of the Bellagio and the erupting volcano at the Mirage delight us with the spectacle of Las Vegas life.
Day 7: Las Vegas – the splendor of nature and engineering
We discover the grandeur of the Hoover Dam and the spectacular landscapes of Red Rock Canyon, two experiences that delight the senses in the heart of the desert.
Day 8: Death Valley – dunes and colors
We explore Badwater Basin, the lowest point in North America, located below sea level, admire the Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, and the stunning colors of Artist’s Palette. At sunset, Zabriskie Point offers one of the most spectacular views in the park.
Day 9: In the kingdom of the Sequoia trees
We enter the realm of the giant sequoia trees, where nature displays its grandeur. We come face to face with General Sherman, the largest tree in the world. We are inspired by the majesty of these green giants as we hike among them and enjoy the beauty of the forest.
Day 10: Along Highway 1 toward Big Sur
We travel along the spectacular Highway 1, where the ocean meets dramatic cliffs. We stop at Bixby Bridge for incredible photos, visit the purple sand beach, and explore McWay Falls. The evening finds us in the perfect place to admire one of the most beautiful sunsets in California.
Day 11: San Francisco – bay breezes and city splendor
San Francisco welcomes us with its vibrant energy and cool air. The day begins with exploring the iconic Golden Gate Bridge and the picturesque Fisherman’s Wharf. We enjoy fresh seafood and watch the playful sea lions.
Day 12: San Francisco – cable cars, steep streets, and city views
We discover the charm of San Francisco’s neighborhoods: we ride the historic cable cars up and down steep streets, explore colorful Chinatown, and are captivated by the bohemian atmosphere of North Beach. In the evening, we admire the city panorama from Twin Peaks.
Day 13: San Francisco – at a leisurely pace
A relaxed day in San Francisco, perfect for last-minute shopping, photos, and unhurried walks. We soak in the city’s atmosphere and gather the final memories of this Californian adventure.
Day 14: Departure
Your journey comes to an end today. If you'd like, you can spend some time exploring the city at your own pace or shopping for souvenirs before departing from San Francisco at your convenience.
