ITINERARY
Here is a day-by-day description of the tour:
Day 1 – Arrival in Buenos Aires
Arrival in Buenos Aires and meet the tour leader to the hotel in the evening. The city greets us with its cosmopolitan vibe!
Day 2 – The story of a city with a South American soul
We discover Buenos Aires through the eyes of a passionate local: starting from the National Congress, we walk down boulevards echoing with history and arrive at the massive mural of Evita – a living symbol of Argentine spirit. We stop at Café Tortoni, where the walls whisper stories and time flows differently, steeped in the aroma of strong coffee.
Day 3 – Color, dance and nostalgia in La Boca & San Telmo
In La Boca, every house is a painting. This is where tango was born, along with the famous Boca Juniors football team. The streets still bear the mark of the Italians who came to build a dream. We continue to San Telmo, the oldest neighborhood in the city – a world of cobbled streets, live music and dancers who turn sidewalks into stages.
Day 4 – Freedom to choose: a relaxed city day or a riverside escape
A free day. You can choose to explore the city on your own, searching for a hidden museum or a charming old bookshop. Or opt for the Tigre Delta excursion and discover a dreamy landscape: calm waters, colorful boats, and a serene quietness rarely found in such a lively city. In the evening, for those who wish, the curtain rises on a live tango performance.
Day 5 – Flight into the wild: meeting Iguazu
We swap urban rhythm for the sound of the wild. After landing in the country’s north, we immediately head to explore the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls. We walk on suspended walkways over rushing waters, feel the tremor of falling water beneath our feet, and reach the most impressive spot of all: the Devil’s Throat – Garganta del Diablo.
Day 6 – The ultimate view: Iguazu from the Brazilian side
We cross the border and position ourselves for the full panoramic view: the falls in all their glory. A vast and awe-inspiring tableau – dozens of waterfalls, a suspended rainbow, and tropical forest that seems untouched by time.
Day 7 – Arrival in Rio de Janeiro
We fly to the city where the mountains meet the sea. In Rio, everything pulses: the people, the colors, the warm air. We drop our bags and head straight to explore the historic center and the Lapa district – where colonial history meets artistic rebellion. Among mosaics, arches and old bars, the carnival atmosphere is already in the air.
Day 8 – A day at your own pace
For those who want to unwind on soft sands, today offers rest and golden sunrays. For the more active, an exhilarating ascent awaits: we head to Corcovado and the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue, followed by a stroll through the urban jungle of Tijuca National Park – a blend of the sacred, the wild, and the sublime.
Day 9 – The art of being in Rio
We explore Santa Teresa, a hilltop artsy district with yellow trams and colorful tiled stairways. Then we descend toward Lapa and end the day with a slow walk along Copacabana, where the sunset paints the sky and the waves beat in a bossa nova rhythm.
Day 10 – The biggest celebration on the planet
Tonight is pure spectacle! We attend the samba school parade – an overwhelming visual feast of costumes, colors, sounds, and dancers who electrify the Sambadrome all night long. One night where the energy of Brazil is concentrated in a single place: the stage of a world in celebration.
Day 11 – Departure
Your trip comes to an end and you are free to depart from Rio at any time. If your schedule allows, take the morning to unwind on the beach one last time, enjoy a fresh coconut under the palm trees, or pick up a few final souvenirs that capture the spirit of Brazil.
